Registration for our Summer Basketball League is now open.

The Coalition Network hosted an All Star Girls Skills Clinic for young female athletes led by WNBA Assistant Coach Ashlee McGee and professional basketball player Jamie Hutcheson. The initiative was a showcase of the future of women’s basketball and the aim was to elevate the skills and aspirations of young female athletes.

“Women’s basketball is experiencing incredible growth, and the demand for opportunities at every level—from grassroots to professional—is stronger than ever. Our young athletes are proving they belong on the biggest stages,” said Ben Sanders Coalition Basketball League Founder.
“We are committed to elevating the game for girls, creating pathways for the next generation, and ensuring that every girl who picks up a basketball in the Coalition Basketball League knows she has a place in this sport. The momentum is here, and we’re proud to be part of shaping the future of women’s basketball.”

As Women’s Month in March shone a spotlight on female athletes, the Coalition Basketball League All-Star Weekend was set to elevate girls’ basketball from the grassroots level to new heights.  Ashlee McGee recently joined the Connecticut Suns as an assistant coach, and shared her coaching talent with the girls taking to the court to learn new skills within the clinic, bringing her experience from previous professional basketball roles for the Washington Mystics, Minnesota Lynx and Minnesota Timberwolves.

With participation in the girls’ league doubling this year and All-Star Weekend Girls Skills Clinic officially sold out, this event underscored the rapid growth of the game and the increasing demand for opportunities that nurture young girls’ talent to foster a lifelong love of basketball. The event gave an exclusive opportunity for young female athletes to develop their skills, gain mentorship, and learn from elite-level coaches. With the rising stars who represent the next generation of female athletes. With women’s sports gaining unprecedented attention, the Coalition Basketball League Girl’s Clinic is a pivotal step in expanding opportunities and visibility for the young and aspiring girls of the game.
